Contract for retreat dates in MAY 2025.
TERMS & CONDITIONS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU & THE RESPONSIBILITIES YOU HOLD.
1. Follow health and safety procedures.
2. Turn up to all flights, excursions and meeting points on time.
3. Treat all other clients, staff members and organizers with respect and kindness.
4. Take responsibility when following your schedule and arriving to locations and events on the correct date and time. (Travel excluding flights not included).
5. Pay on time and understand refunds are not permitted due to overheads and administrative costs. If paying in installments the full amount must be paid to the end once beginning this agreement.
6. Provide your own necessary Visa’s (and research) before applying to attend.
7. Obey UAE law and culture respectfully.
8. Follow policy and producers below professionally to make the trip enjoyable for everyone.
9. Have your own travel and health insurance.
10. Come to the retreat with an open positive mindset, ready to learn, grow, have fun, nurture and allow for a space of calm, peaceful rejuvenation with your other retreat go-ers!
Food is not included so please ensure you fund appropriately.
For the protection of all we are entitled to remove anyone from the retreat who acts in a manner likely to upset, continuously annoy, or provoke any retreat guest or staff member, and/or who uses racist language, acts in a verbally abusive manner, physically assaults or threatens to physically assault any person, carries a firearm or other weapon, commits any acts of vandalism or arson, has any illegal substances or alcohol or who is guilty of ANY criminal offense with immediate effect.
Your place on the retreat will be terminated with immediate effect if you fail to meet these expectations.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
1. Create a positive atmosphere.
2. Organise retreat schedule, hotels and flights. Our retreat service is simply the co-ordination of events and NOT a medical health provider of any kind.
3. Turn up to all flights, excursions, meeting points on time.
4. Treat all retreat guests with respect and kindness.
5. Obey country laws and culture respectfully.

7. To remove anyone from the retreat who acts in a manner likely to upset, continuously annoy, or provoke any holiday guest or staff member, and/or who uses racist language, acts in a verbally abusive manner, physically assaults or threatens to physically assault any person, carries a firearm or other weapon, commits any acts of vandalism or arson, or who is guilty of a criminal offense with immediate effect.
TERMS OF USE:
This Terms of Use is an agreement between The Power Project FZE (trading as project HERd), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under company number 2668 and with registered office at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park Free Zone Authority Block BB14-085, represented by Rebecca (Beckie) Hughes with email address [email protected] (Company); THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 08828053, represented by Rebecca (Beckie) Hughes with email address [email protected] (Company); and the Client whose details are set out above.
'You' - The Client
'Us' - THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD and The Power Project FZE
IMPORTANT NOTE.
Events beyond our control include - war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type, closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, theft and any other similar events.
1. APPLICATION OF CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions (“Conditions”) shall apply to and be incorporated into your booking form and prevail over any inconsistent terms or conditions contained, or referred to, in your booking form or confirmation of booking.
2. THE RETREAT We are offering 'THE ARMY DC X THE POWER PROJECT RETREAT' to be held in Dubai. UAE.
You must adhere to the hotel/accommodation and scheduled event rules or you will be liable for room deposits, cancelled booking fees and any additional consequences of not following outlined rules. You must be legally over aged 18 to attend this retreat. If you do not wish to attend any organized activities you will not receive a refund of any part of the retreat fee. You (Client) must understand your Visa requirements and arrange appropriately before booking.
3. RESERVATION, BOOKING & CONTRACT
To confirm your reservation, you will be required to sign these T&C’s and then follow further instructions on how to pay your deposit and full amount. The T&C from can be sent back to [email protected]. By sending back and signing the T&C’s, you are accepting that the Conditions apply to your booking. Upon receipt of the booking form and final payment, we will send you a booking confirmation by email. This confirmation is our formal acceptance of the Booking. Please check the details of the confirmation, and advise us at once of any inaccuracies. If we do not hear from you within 3 days of sending you this confirmation then the information on the booking confirmation shall be deemed to be correct. The booking form, booking confirmation and these Conditions together form the contract between you and us (“our Contract”).
4. PAYMENT
Payment will be via www.stripe.com with a minimum non-refundable deposit of 1500AED. Full payment must be complete by 01/04/2025. All payments are final and non-refundable. You agree to pay the full amount of 6000AED just activities, 7000AED shared room or 10000AED single room. Early bird including flights offer: £1750 By signing this contract I agree to pay the price available at the time of booking regardless of any change out of our control and complete total purchase until all payments are complete. You understand paying a deposit is a commitment of this contract, a securing of your space on the retreat and therefore agree to complete purchase.
5. CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel a booking, you should advise us by email to [email protected]. In all cases of cancellation the balance paid will be forfeited. If the cancellation is made after the final payment is due, then the full payment will be forfeited and if full payment has not been made then you are liable for the full cost of the retreat. We will of course take into consideration any unforeseen “life event” circumstances that take place regarding your cancellation.
6. BOOKING ALTERATIONS
Although we will always endeavor to adhere to the published program of activities, we reserve the right to amend the itinerary and retreat program at any time.
7. VALUABLES
We do not take any responsibility for the safekeeping, loss or damage of your valuables. We encourage you to either leave valuable items at home or keep them with you. Your own personal travel insurance must cover you for loss of valuables. We (Company) are NOT liable for any loss, theft or damage of personal property.
8. HOLIDAY INSURANCE
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate medical & holiday insurance that covers you to participate in a holiday/retreat/course of this type. Our retreat is not a medical/ physical/mental provider and are NOT liable for any damages, health issues, injury of any kind or death. Our retreat service is simply the co-ordination of events. We (Company) do NOT provide any medical support and are not qualified to do so. We require that your insurance covers all medical eventualities and costs, repatriation, holiday cancellation, COVID cancellation and personal valuables. The Power Project FZE and THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD are not liable for any health or financial damage and you must tell your instructor any health concerns you may have before joining any part of the retreat.
9. CLASSES, COURSES & INSTRUCTION
All classes and courses are undertaken at your own risk. If you suffer from a known medical condition or are in any doubt about your health for ANY reason, please consult professional medical advice and inform us (THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD & THE POWER PROJECT FZE) before booking. You must inform us of any such condition or concern that you may have before attending the classes. You must also inform us if you are pregnant or are taking any medication. We will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible or liable for injury, loss or death, howsoever arising, during your stay. It is your responsibility to ensure that your physical condition is appropriate to the activities relevant to the holiday that you are booking.
10. PUBLICITY
The Client (you) hereby allows the Company (us) to use and disseminate any and all of the Client’s testimonials that the Company believes is strategic and useful for its business. The Company may use these written, oral, video or screenshot testimonials (or any other type of testimonial/captured content) in any way that Company wants to. Client’s name may be included or it may be crossed out and hidden. The Client hereby irrevocably grants the Company the right to use any of the Client’s social media posts, social media comments, emails, messages, or anything else. You understand that there will be pictures and videos taken throughout the retreat that will be used for marketing and social media and agree for us to edit, recreate or “post”/publish on social media or any other forms of media.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: YOUR ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THIS CONDITION
This condition sets out our entire financial liability (including any liability for the acts or omissions of our employees, teachers, consultants and suppliers) to you in respect of: (a) any breach of our Contract; (b) any use made by you of the Retreat or the services we provide to or arrange for you; and (c) any representation, statement or tortious act or omission (including “negligence”) arising under or in connection with our Contract or the Retreat. - All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from our Contract. - Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes our liability: (a) for death or personal injury resulting from negligence; or (b) for any damage or liability incurred by you as a result of our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. - Our total liability to you in relation to you in tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with our Contract and the Retreat shall be limited to the price you pay to us. - THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD has Public Liability Insurance covers the cost of claims made by the Client for incidents that occur in connection with the retreat.
GENERAL
Although The Power Project FZE and THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD every reasonable care to ensure that nothing untoward occurs during your stay, we (Company(s) and Rebecca (Beckie) Hughes) accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, damage or irregularity arising, howsoever caused (to the fullest extent permitted by law). We do not accept responsibility whatsoever for events beyond our control. Our Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of the United Kingdom & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with our Contract (THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY LTD) or its subject matter or formation (including noncontractual disputes or claims). If any part of our Contract is deemed by the laws of England and Wales, to be unfair or unjust, the remainder of our Contract shall remain valid. SIGNATURE AND INFORMATION REQUEST
